2017 Hyundai Santa Fe recalled for steering fix

Hyundai Australia has issued a recall for that 2017 Santa Fe Sports utility vehicle over concerns the controls and column could separate.

The Korean manufacturer reports 2945 vehicles could have the manufacturing fault, that could result in a lack of steering control while increasing the chance of any sort of accident.

Affected Santa Fe units were offered from 15 June 2017 through 28 December 2017. The VIN list of these vehicles could be viewed here.

Proprietors from the remembered SUVs are encouraged to contact their local Hyundai dealer to set up the inspection and repair (if needed) of the vehicle.
